New Job for Brittany!

We have had SO many changes lately:

I started my job at
PRIMAY CHILDREN'S MEDICAL CENTER
this week.

Primary Children's hospital is one of the PREMIER
hospitals in the United States

They have a level 3 acuity meaning
they treat VERY critical children.

I have had two training days this week and my
first shift on the floor starts tomorrow.
I am working on the NTU (Neuro-Trauma Unit.
They deal with trauma cases, spinal cord injuries,
Hydrocephalus, and brain surgery patients.
Very SICK children.
{I am VERY nervous!}

I will be working as a PCT (Patient Care Tech)
while I attend Nursing school.
This position is comparable to a CNA.

I will only be working part-time.
Mostly night shifts
{This leaves Jordan home with Kendyl}

I am so excited for a new beginning & a start in my nursing career!

Full time teaching :)

I will be teaching Chinese full time next year. I am teaching at 2 different schools. One is Orem high school where I am currently teaching at. And the other is Vista Heights jr high in Saratoga Springs. This came as quite a blessing I am very excited to finally settle into a permanent job with benefits. It will work like this. Alpine school district operates on an A/B day schedule. Having 8 classes they will have 4 on one day and 4 the next. so I will be teaching a full 4 classes at Vista Heights and 3 at Orem on alternating days. At Vista I have heard that upwards of 80 kids out of only 7th and 8th grades have signed up to take my class. While at Orem I heard that I have 36! kids signed up for my level one class. I currently have only 40 total students so these numbers are good! I also much to Brittany's dismay am trying to continue coaching football at Orem high. we will see I might have to take a break for a year then start up again after she graduates. But all in all I am incredibly excited about this opportunity!

Brittany and I were married on May 2nd 2009 in the Bountiful Temple, where we were sealed for time and all eternity by my grandfather Lowell Caldwell, it was the rainiest day ever, but Britt and I didn't let that stop us!We took pictures in the rain for about an hour wedding dress tux and all! It was one of the most amazing days of my life! she was the most beautiful brides ever! And taking pictures was great, because not one soul was there and we had all the grounds to ourselves :) We had a reception later that day at my parents house in fruit heights and we have decided my mother needs to be an event planner, because she does an amazing job of decoration and food, and made it a very very special day for us. We then left on our honeymoon to San Diego we stayed in Oceanside on the coast and went to Disneyland and The Wild Life Park and to the beach, we both got baked like lobsters, but loved ever minute of it. Our wedding night we stayed and the little america after getting arby's and the people at the drive in loved my car, it was covered front to back in sticky notes and oreos on the windows, it was pretty good. After we got back we had a reception in Middleton Idaho, Britt's parents spared no expense in making the church look amazing and we received so many great gifts and love from all of her friends and family.
